London Editor of Women's Wear Daily is well known for leading the way in
furniture, lighting and interiors. Now she has turned her prophetic eye to jewellery
- with a remit to design and discover the rare, the irreplaceable and the beautiful.
Valerie Wade's jewellery collection evolved from her long love affair with jewellery
and coloured stones and a fascination with the age old magical powers they are said
to possess; to protect, soothe or energise. The jewellery uses precious and semi
precious stones set mostly in gold and some silver.
Her collection is inspired by early 20th century styles… from the twenties to the
fifties, as well as focusing on timeless pieces for fashion today.
